CMS Ireland is committed to seeing the world transformed by the love of Christ.

We believe that we are called to:

- Help God’s people rediscover mission at the heart of Church life
- Provide opportunities for mission-focused discipleship
- Release people into God’s mission – globally and locally
- Encourage and resource local Christians in living out the Good News of Jesus
- Support our partners as they make practical responses to the needs of the communities in which they live
- Pioneer new opportunities for mission

We are committed to the Church in both its traditional and less structured expressions – and we remain committed to our existing partners. However we recognise that to be true to our mission calling we also need to find new ways of responding to the unique cultural and spiritual circumstances that we find ourselves in today.

We do this:
- by establishing meaningful links between churches in Ireland and partners around the World
- by supporting the local church as it engages in cross-cultural mission initiatives
- by helping resource the worldwide church in mission
- by providing opportunities for people to engage in mission throughout the world
