Having travelled up to ‘Murchison Falls National Park’ on Wednesday night where we stayed in tents, it was yet another 6am start, before our ‘Rumble; Jumble; Tumble in the Jungle.’ And what a event it was. For despite the many injections that we’d all received apparently there are just some things you can’t be immunised against (way too many to blog) but the stories we will definitely carry home with us.

However, on Safari what sights we were to behold as we observed in their own natural habitats elephant; giraffe; antelope; monkey; vulture; fish-eagle; hippo and crocodile to name but a few, amazing!!

All of which could only be surpassed by our boat cruise on the River Nile that was to follow where-in, not only did we see (this time from the water) many of the same animals and birds, but the absolutely spectacular sight of “Murchison Falls” which was the place where the whole of the River Nile rushes and cascades through just a 12metre gap in the rock, absolutely breath-taking, making our Safari SO, SO, good!!!

we might be home, but think we've left a piece of our heart there, or maybe a more accurate description would be we've taken a piece of Aura home with us in our heart, both the place and the people.
