so this is the process, i get some of the team to write the blog and then come over to the hospital to post it, adding anything that needs to be… so tonites author was laura t on her own as matty wasn’t feeling the best… however, their ‘joint’ blog, laura says was an exaggeration of the truth as mr girvan didnt listen to her suggestions… so over to you laura…

Another day another blog, we are doing well at this… so what happened today!!

Today started well with no one having fallen ill. It began with morning prayers: the ugandan singing continues to impress us all especially with their accents.

The day went well, we visited another rural school. Chants of muzungu (white people) still echo in our ears. It went well plenty of singing and dancing in main deck. Natalie even made a friend. The activity groups went well but matthew began to feel unwell again and later ‘whiteyd‘ (was sick) down a long drop.

We headed back to kiwoko for some pumpkin and potatoes, and later a game of mafia, sam johnston is a hero… all hail M.O.F. (Ministry of Fun: Sam, Jess and Adam)

pps: matty is feeling a wee bit better today, however we are keeping a close eye on him, although he is up and about today he is taking it easy!

*Thanks laura for that comical insight please note my translation in parts!! I am writing this after a third day of kids club but im sure you would rather hear from someone else about it, so i’ll leave it to them… tomorrow (sat) we are running the same program for one day to the kids of the staff in the hospital!! Also maybe going for a wee drive with rory to take some photos of some of his friends who live out deep in the bush, should be good!! more to follow. Matty is feeling lots better and laura fosters bag turned up!! happy days!!

ps the photos are from our first day of kids club and Natalie’s friend. The internet is so much faster cos im over here later at night with less people on the network*

How spooky - I have just posted how much I was looking forward to seeing the next blog, and five minutes later it appears!!! Does this mean Laura t is actually doing something her mummy asks???????????????????????? As I'm on a roll - is Laura t wearing her crocodile kickers??? Freddy is out of BB (had to google it for you!) In Hollyoakes Ste thinks he has lost his baby for good after handing Lucas over to Abi and Daniel who do a runner (Laure t's dad got the Sun tv magazine out of the blue bin for me to tell you that !!! ) Hope the washing line and pegs came in handy - and you found a use for the string!!!! Great to read the next update and see the images - I think about you all everyday and can only begin to imagine the experiences you are having! I hope Matthew gets better to fully enjoy his mission. Cricket never far from your mind Andrew!! Nothing yet to report, although I do think I heard that Ramprakash might be considered to help out the ailing side - will try to keep you updated but don't worry, I'll not forget to tape the highlights! I hope both you and Suzanne are well and having the time of your lives, I didn't think I'd say this, but it's very quiet around here without you - even Lulu is hiding under the bed from me!! My thoughts and prayers go to all in the team and those supporting you.

Hey Shortie, It's great to read about all the fantastic things you guys are doing out there! We're all very proud of you here at home. Paul & I went to visit the Tall Ships yesterday (in the sunshine, unlike Mum & Dad) It was really good but WAY too many people and Paul got grumpy! We then went to Mum & Dad's for a bit and between Dad being grumpy cos the golf course was closed and Paul huffing around the place cos he couldn't play football, a pleasant day was had by all! Loving all your pictures, Paul especially loves the one's of you in the green t-shirts, he didn't realise that you were also working in Asda, Uganda in your spare time!! Hey guys, hope everyones keeping well!! hope girvs feeling better soon. oh btw, i met the most uncanny lookalike of girv the world has ever known, he even acts like you but is older so its like an older bro but not....:S Anyhu, trotters i thought id force myself to give you a BB update so here you go: Halfwit went out on friday, so marcus stayed in, Nominations had been made out loud, then housemates could discuss them after -- cue some quarreling. shopping task was 4 parts - 1) when a song is played some of the housemates had to run to the garden, put on snorkel and goggles and flippers and swim through a bog 2) a housemate had to learn the bagpipes 3)3 housemates had to become jockeys and make bets on a horse race 4) rodrigo and 2 others had to learn english ettiquete i dont watch it so thts sum random stuff from channel4.com if anyone else wants some news ask for it haha Good luck on thursday for those getting results, im sure ull all do great!!! Hi Emma, it's mum here! We are just back from France, had a great time, weather really good and swimming was excellent. Laura loved her new goggles and would like you to know that we were swimming on Sunday night at midnight (not skinny dipping!). Its sounds as if you are having a great time.
