Dear Friends
We have been having a good and busy time lately. Our friends Bob & Sue Kemp from St Albans together with their boys matt, Josh and Greg were out with us for almost 3 weeks. We had a great time with them (Thanks so much for visiting). seeing lots of Uganda that we had not visited before – it was amazing for us too to see the variety that there is in Uganda. Now we are very much back at the hospital – Judith continues to balance the hospitality needs of the hospital which are huge with so many visitors and the Occupational Therapy needs in the community around us. We have had some great encouragements lately through people wanting to support Kiwoko – recently our minibus went off the road and is in need of major repair. We decided against that and have been amazed at how God has provided funding to replace it. We have also had significant donations which allow us to look to replace some delapidated buildings and build some much needed accomodation – so we have much to be thankful for. Also our doctor numbers are increasing which will ease the burden on Rory and the other doctors but of course brings the need for finances so please pray for these financial needs which are significant but we believe that God will provide for this need. The World Cup is now a distant memory but the football season is up and running again and talking of which our inaugural Kiwoko Chase will take place on the 30th September – training is ongoing and is involving some very early starts but hopefully there will be a good benefit. Thanks so much for your interest and comments
Love K&J
