Finances

We think we should mention finances at the hospital since they have occupied our minds pretty much since coming to Kiwoko. We are having our audited accounts for the last financial year finalised and they are likely to show a significant deficit

Our budget for the current year showed a large deficit based on forecasts for income and expenditure which continues to be a concern for the future. Kiwoko Hospital relies heavily on external donations to continue its work and ministry as there is no way that we could recover the income required from patient fees.

This year we have had one encouragement after another from people who have supported Kiwoko for which we continue to thank God. We have had children giving up birthday presents raise funds and we have had individual gifts of 5000 GBP. This has been staggering – and so for now we say thanks to everyone who supports us or Kiwoko in any way.

Thanks and God bless
