Hi All,

The past few weeks have been challenging with having come down with Malaria. I’ve learnt a lot about medication, clinics and how to treat it. Thankfully I am better again and getting back into life in Arua.

At the cathedral, I am leading a Bible Study group and I’m part of an initiative to clean up the local environment. The group I am leading will be having a Clean up Mvara day on the 26th July and we hope to get the local community involved.

At the VTC (Vocational Training College), I gave a Scripture talk to the students and I felt blessed to be invited to do so.

My time at the Belfast Bible College is sure helping with these activities.

There are a lot of deaths here in Arua, funerals are going on all the time and last for days. There has been a few funerals not far from were I am and there was another just the other day. The music can be heard for days, night and day. Many of my friends here have relatives and friends who have lost wives, family and friends recently. Please pray for God’s consoling presence.

The VTC continues to work on the accommodation for the blind students at a local school and are now ready for the roof to go on. The grounds for the new business development for the local traders is being prepared and offices at the Cathedral are being constructed.

Sorry there are no new photos, the camera I was using is no longer working. So please pray for a new one. In the meantime, here’s a photo of the construction work (for the blind students) from a couple of weeks ago.

Blessings to you all!
