While recent years have seen a huge rise in the number of ‘short-term’ mission opportunities, CMS Ireland remains committed to those who feel called to work cross-culturally for a longer period.

Working as a full CMS Ireland Mission Partner gives people the opportunity to more fully immerse themselves in, engage with and understand the country and culture in which they are based.

With terms of service from 2 years upwards, CMS Ireland Mission Partners are currently involved in a wide range of fields including, leadership training, evangelism, community development, healthcare and advocacy. At present CMS Ireland supports 16 Mission Partners in 6 different countries.

Mission Partners are connected to a network of churches in Ireland who have links with the particular diocese or programme in which they are based. This means that the Mission Partners are supported prayerfully and financially as they, in turn, resource the world church for God’s mission.
