We took this photo of the 5 students from Diocese of Lainya and five from the Diocese of Yei on the eve of their trip to Kampala for 9 months training to be Health Care Assistants at the International Health Sciences University.

The 10 students were selected from over 100 applicants and were very excited about this opportunity. The training in Kampala will be of a much higher standard than similar courses and it is hoped that many of the 10 may progress in due course to further training.

This is part of the Healthline Sudan project and is part funded by Irish Aid and part funded by the Basic Services Fund.
