Loving God, Loving Others is the theme of the Bangor Worldwide Missionary Convention 2009. There is an amazing team of speakers this year, from Bishop Ken Clarke, to the Latin Link Cuba Step Team, to Shadrack Luwago from Kiwoko Hospital, Uganda. On Friday evening, there will be a WWMC youth event, considering whether “loving god loving others, is it worth it?”.

The convention takes place from Saturday 22 August until Saturday 29th August, with meetings beginning at 7.30pm.

CMS Ireland will be taking part in the “Global Village” at this years Convention. The “Global Village” is the conventions Mission Resources Exhibition. It will take place each evening this week, Monday to Friday, and it will be a great opportunity to come and find out more about CMS Ireland, to ask questions, and to chat with our staff, volunteers and people who have been involved in META teams, STEP programmes and long term mission.

The events start from 7.30pm and the Global Village will be open after the main meeting has finished.

Please drop by for a chat if you would like to know more about CMS Ireland, or about getting involved in mission.
