Commissioning Services Begin a Busy Summer...


A series of commissioning services, taking place throughout June, will complete the preparations for almost 100 CMS Ireland volunteers travelling to Africa and Europe this summer.

Over the next few months five META teams will work alongside our partners in Burundi, Kenya, Uganda and Romania; short-term volunteers will spend time in Brasov and Arua; whilst Mission Partners on home leave will be heading back to Kiwoko Hospital in Luwero.

Going Home for Just Over a Month

Former CMS Mission Partner Honoured at Downpatrick Celebration.


Former CMS Mission Partner, Sheilagh Jebb, was recently honoured at a special event in Downpatrick.

‘Spirit of Patrick: Continuing the Legacy’ celebrated the lives of five key people in the Church of Ireland Diocese of Down & Dromore and was part of Down Cathedral’s 400th Anniversary celebrations. Sheilagh and the others were chosen because, in the Spirit of St Patrick, they have served in mission over an entire lifetime.
