STOP PRESS: Our Dublin office is moving

In recent days, CMS Ireland has had confirmation of some significant news for our offices in Dublin.

Within the next two weeks, we will be moving from ‘Overseas House’, on Belgrave Road, to Church of Ireland House, Rathmines. As many of you will be aware, Overseas House has been on the market for over 2 years, so we’re delighted that the sale of the building has coincided with our recent enquiries about Church House.

CMS Ireland’s interest in office space in Church House goes back many years. Indeed, one of the main reasons for the offices moving to Belgrave Road 35 years ago was to be closer to the ‘operational hub’ of the Church of Ireland. Both Canon Raymond Smith and Canon Cecil Wilson, former General Secretaries of the Society, had made previous approaches to Church House to request office space – in many senses, this is an ambition realised!

As we seek to strengthen our relationships with our core support base and explore new opportunities to help resource the Church of Ireland in mission, this move represents a hugely exciting and positive step for the Society.

From 14th June, our Dublin office address will be:

CMS Ireland,
Church of Ireland House,
Church Avenue,
Dublin 6.

We’d ask for your patience and prayers as we make the transition over the coming weeks and set up the new office. We’re hoping to retain our phone and fax numbers. However, for the month of June, please contact the Belfast office in the first instance.

And please join us as we bid a fond farewell…at our Evening of Thanksgiving & Prayer at‘Overseas’ House’, Belgrave Road on Tuesday 1st June, 7:30pm.
