Well, I’m back in Burundi after a really good time at home. Here we’re moving towards the end of dry season which sadly means lots of water and electricity cuts. Not a fun time of year! We pray by the end of Sept /early Oct the rains may begin.

Last month I enjoyed some rest and cycling in Provence as well as 3 nights with my parents at their house in Auvergne before returning to Burundi on 25th. I felt refreshed in body, mind and spirit thanks to all the wonderful times this summer, esp. some fantastic spiritual input. Please God may it last and may I remain focused on You here in Burundi!

Right now Harvest for Christ is doing its annual evangelistic outreach to every Province in Burundi. Around 600 evangelists have gone out to work with local churches and visit people in their homes, sharing the good news of Jesus and praying with people for whatever conditions they have (physical problems to being demon possessed).

This was delayed due to the elections so has meant the training Cyrille and I were due to do next week is also being put back. However it gives me some time to work on improving the materials and preparing for 2 teams coming from UK: Christian Prayer Ministries (CPM) in Oct and Flame Int. in Nov. More details to follow but please be praying for all the preparations. Cyrille and I also hope to have a prayer planning morning together on 8th and to do a follow-up day on 15th in Kanyosha. Kirundi study continues as ever.

Flame Int., who are returning to Burundi for the third time, have asked me to attend a Healing Retreat and 9 day inner healing and deliverance school with Ellel Africa so that I can be more familiar with their teachings. Wonderfully, a very generous one-off gift given has enabled me to go. I shall be there from 17 Sept – 2 Oct.

I have started Spurgeon’s online theology certificate part-time which I hope will help my teaching and stimulate me.

Prayer points:

- HFC evangelistic outreach to be very fruitful.
- Preparations for CPM and Flame teams.
- Healing for my worker Isaac who has had malaria and typhoid.
- Follow-up in Kanyosha.
- Healing retreat and 9 day inner healing and deliverance school with Ellel Africa – that the Lord may continue His healing and equip me further in this ministry.
- Plenty of guests in my home in Bujumbura.
