We had a fantastic time with the team from Christian Prayer Ministries (www.cpm-uk.org). See below for the detail.

My aunt and uncle, came at the weekend – my first weekend visitors to Burundi! We had 4 whole days together and it was such a special time. They loved Burundi and I think were really touched being here.

It really feels as though work is taking off at the moment. Do pray for guidance and that we will be investing time with the right people. We are very encouraged to have been invited to train leaders at the Catholic mission Mont Sion in March. This month, I am preparing talks; we’re doing a follow-up in Bubanza and preparing for and joining in Flame’s visit.

Flame Int. are continuing their training in each of the 6 Anglican Dioceses here, staying from Fri 19 Nov to Sun 5 Dec to lead 2 trauma healing conferences in Gitega and Makamba Dioceses. We’ve invited 25 Anglican and 25 non Anglican pastors – via Harvest for Christ’s contacts. I will be joining the team during what is always a full-on but amazing time. I am teaching on belief systems, emotional healing and reconciliation. I will be leading a prayer ministry group in Makamba. My colleague Cyrille is attending as a participant for the first week and then translating the second week; hopefully doing some teaching with them during the next visit.

Christian Prayer Ministries’ training course

We had a tremendous time with the team from CPM who were awesome. Just 2 days before the conference was due to start, half the delegates informed us they couldn’t come! We invited others and were 15 – just 1 short of our aim. We had really prayed for the ‘right’ people and felt the Lord answered. It was a great mix of men and women, involved in Christian leadership and pastoral care. They brought much experience yet really wanted to learn more.

The training looked at 4 areas of brokenness: sin, wounds, bondages and occult and how through the Cross we can be set free. Each participant had a 3 hour prayer ministry appointment and all testified to God doing deep healing. Many had never been given so much time before. On the final day, participants discussed how to take the ministry forward. We plan to do a follow-up in Feb and consider forming a network to support each other. They will ask the UK team to return if they need it.

Prayer points:

- For a new house and everything to come together with ease.
- Praise for excellent CPM conference; pray the participants use the training.
- Praise God that someone is now using my car in UK and paying its bills! Pray that the car will stay in good condition and be usable when I need it.
- Pray for anointed & impacting Flame conferences in Gitega & Makamba.
