You've got the Love I need to see me through

I am still studying away at Bible College and I must say the brain cells are definitely being stretched. I am also continuing to really enjoy playing Football for the Bible College football team, even if that means picking up a few bruises along the way!!

I have been reflecting lately on my journey and the challenges and blessings that come with that and as I thought about this a song came to mind and some of the lyrics go like this

“Sometimes I feel like throwing my hands up in the air
I know I can count on you
Sometimes I feel like saying Lord I just don’t care
But you’ve got the love I need to see me through”

As those lyrics run through my mind I am encouraged to know that in times of challenges and struggles, when I want to throw my hands up in the air in desperation as a cry to the Lord and when things don’t go quite as you anticipate, that God has control of everything, there is a reason why we go through the things we do and as a result it is ultimately because God wants to do a work in all of us and bless us with many blessings.

On that note God is doing a work in me at Bible College, as it is a time of growth and understanding more about the word of God. I am also meeting new people and experiencing their journeys and desires to serve God in different ways. I am also continuing to work closely with my Church and with the youth which is a great experience. I believe God is equipping and preparing me in all areas with all I need, to serve him at home and overseas.

Good to see Bible College is paying off and you are still quoting from songs! In all seriousness so proud of you for all you are doing and so amazing to see all God is doing through you alread - and you haven;t even got out to Nepal yet. Praying for patience for you for God to continue to work in you - don't feel guilty for this time - even Jesus had 40days away to prepare and then a few hours in Gethsemane and Paul had three years to prep! Love you and God for all you're doing - Hows the footie?
