This Saturday evening, 23rd June, sees a special event in Willowfield Parish, Belfast, hosted by the Good Book Shop. Patrick Reagan will be launching his new book ‘No Ceiling to Hope: Dangerous Stories of Grace in Action’. The book highlights examples of simple projects around the world – including Belfast – that see the church offering hope and transformation to their local communities.

Patrick is the founder of the charity XLP, which fights poverty, supports education and helps young people in the London area. He recently won the Mayor of London’s peace award and is a regular speaker at Christian conferences and festivals. His previous book, ‘Conspiracy of the Insignificant’, tells the story of the growth and development of XLP.

On Saturday, Patrick will be share something of his vision for mission and will reflect on some of the stories from his new book, which will be available on the evening at a special promotional price.

CMS Ireland want to support the Good Book Shop as they endorse and promote books which help churches and individuals explore their call to mission. This event is an important opportunity to be inspired and challenged by stories of hope and transformation and we would encourage you to come along and enjoy the evening. We’ll be there – do come and say hello!

The event begins at 8pm.
