CMS Ireland is to hold its Annual General Meeting on Saturday 27th April at 2:30pm, in the Church of Ireland Theological Institute (CITI), Dublin.

This is an important date in the Society’s calendar, offering members a chance to enjoy fellowship together, to hear news, stories and reports from the past year and to look forward to the year ahead.

As part of the programme, CMS Ireland’s Mission Director, Ronnie Briggs, will share some highlights from the work of the Society and our Global Partners. The Society’s President, Bishop Alan Abernethy (Connor Diocese), will offer some of his own reflections at the end of his first year in this role. The Audited Accounts for 2011-2012 will also be presented at the meeting.

Nominations and Voting
The AGM will include a process of voting new Trustees to the Board, with up to three new Trustees to be elected on this occasion. If you are a member of CMS Ireland, you can nominate potential Trustees (between 2:30pm on 6th and 2:30pm on 24th April) and you can vote at the AGM itself, or by proxy. More information on the processes of nomination and election can be found by contacting Jenny Christie (Administration Coordinator) in our Belfast office. Jenny can also send you the AGM papers by e-mail or post.

CMS Ireland is a member organisation – made up of members, led by members. The AGM represents an important opportunity to play your part. You can make a significant contribution to the Society through your presence, through your listening, through your questions, through your voting…or even, through your willingness to serve as a Trustee on our Board.

The AGM begins at 2:30pm, with tea and coffee available from 2pm. For directions to the Church of Ireland Theological Institute, click here.
