CMS Ireland’s Annual Review and Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday 29th March at the Church of Ireland Theological Institute (CITI), Braemor Park, Dublin – between 11am and 3:30pm.

The Annual Review takes place in the morning (coffee/tea available from 11am) – during which we’ll be sharing some highlights from the work of the Society over the past year. We’ll also hear an update and some stories from the Wilson family (Kiwoko Hospital, Uganda) who are back in Ireland on Home Assignment.

Lunch will be provided, for all who ‘book-in’ with us beforehand. Contributions for lunch are welcome but not essential.

A short Annual General Meeting will take place after lunch – and will include brief reports from Mission Director Ronnie Briggs, CMS Ireland’s President Bishop Alan Abernethy and Finance Manager Brian Lavery. The Audited Accounts for 2012-2013 will also be presented at the meeting and there will be a chance to vote for up to two new Trustees to the Board.

Nominations and Voting
If you are a member of CMS Ireland, you can nominate potential Trustees (between 2pm on 7th March and 2pm on 26th March) and you can vote at the AGM itself, or by proxy. More information on the processes of nomination and election can be found by contacting Jenny Christie (Administration Coordinator) in our Belfast office. Jenny can also send you the AGM papers by e-mail or post.

CMS Ireland is a member organisation – made up of members, led by members. The AGM represents an important opportunity to play your part. You can make a significant contribution to the Society through your presence, through your listening, through your questions, through your voting…or even, through your willingness to serve as a Trustee on our Board.
