Throughout 2015, CMS Ireland is facilitating 10 different METAs (Mission Experience Teams Abroad), with over 70 people visiting some of our Global Partners and experience life, faith and mission in a different setting.

The first team depart from Dublin tonight and will head to Nepal for a two-week visit. While there, they’ll be helping facilitate a leadership training conference with SD Church in Kathmandu. They’ll also visit one of the remote ‘house churches’ supported by SD Church. Please pray for the team of six – four of whom are making their first visit to Nepal. The team leaders are Rev Bill Boyce (St Brigid’s, Glengormley) and Canon John McCammon (St Patrick’s, Coleraine) – and they’re joined by Nevin Kidd, Eleanor Boyce, Peter Kirch (all St Brigid’s) and Alan Robinson (St Patrick’s).

Tomorrow, a small team begins their journey to Yei Diocese in South Sudan, where they'll be taking part in a Youth Conference. The team is led by CMSI Partnership Coordinator Jenny Smyth. Please pray for Jenny and the other team members - Rev Arthur Young and Naomi Kumar (both Kill O' The Grange) and Frank Dobbs (Agherton Parish). Remember Naomi especially, as she is sitting an exam tomorrow, before flying out on Friday to meet up with the rest of the team.
