Over the past couple of weeks, Church of Ireland Ordinand, Danielle McCullagh, has been working alongside the Diocese of Madi West Nile, one of CMSI’s Global Partners in Uganda.

Danielle, from Carnmoney Parish (Connor) is the latest student to benefit from a CMSI bursary scheme with the Church of Ireland Theological Institute (CITI). As part of their first year course at CITI, students undergo a final ministry placement in April. By offering financial and practical support, CMSI provides opportunities for up to three students each year to carry out this placement with one of our Global Partners.

During her time in Madi West Nile, Danielle has joined in with the ministry of Rev Alice Bayo and her team. She’s been writing a regular blog from Uganda, entitled Pitching the Tent in Uganda, which you can read here
