Today sees the launch of a new blog on the CMSI website – a blog dedicated to the CMSI staff team. It will offer a chance for staff members to share updates and reflections from their travels in Ireland, Africa and Nepal as well as to shine light on other news and stories from parishes and Global Partners.

Mission Resource Manager Roger Cooke had this to say about the new blog:

The blog posts are by far the most visited pages on the CMSI website and we want to build on the successes of our Mission Partner blogs and the posts by Mission Experience Teams Abroad. It’s another way to increase our engagement with CMSI supporters and to ensure that we’re sharing even more stories of God at work, transforming lives.

The CMSI Staff Blog will also provide staff members with an opportunity to share some more general reflections and perspectives on mission and on relevant issues. This is exactly what Jenny Smyth (Mission Director) and Roger Cooke have done in the first staff blog piece, as they share some thoughts about the current refugee crisis in a piece entitled: A Place to Call Home.
