Ronnie and Maggie have been involved with CMS Ireland for almost 30 years – spending more than 15 years of that time serving, with their family, in Kenya.

In May this year Ronnie and Maggie will return to Kajiado diocese, where they will play a pivotal role in implementing the new diocesan strategy. Ronnie will take responsibility for many of the planned development activities and Maggie will keep a particular focus on women’s work. Bishop Jeremiah Taama is delighted to welcome them back to the diocese.

Originally a quantity surveyor Ronnie was the first CMS Ireland Mission Partner to work in Kajiado Diocese. He and Maggie have been involved in coordinating a number of development and ministry projects in the diocese – and have been the driving force behind much of CMS Ireland’s work in Kenya.

They are both passionate about helping churches in Ireland build lasting partnerships with the global church.

In recent years Ronnie has worked in a number of roles in CMS Ireland’s Belfast office – as Development Officer, Personnel Coordinator and latterly as Regional Mission Partner for East and Southern Africa.
