Ronnie and Maggie Briggs have been involved with CMS Ireland for almost 30 years – spending more than 15 years of that time serving, with their family, in Kenya.

Ronnie and Maggie have recently returned to Kajiado diocese, where they are playing a pivotal role in implementing the new diocesan strategy.

Ronnie is responsible for much of the diocese’s ongoing development work and Maggie keeps a particular focus on income generation programmes for women.

Originally a quantity surveyor, Ronnie was the first CMS Ireland Mission Partner to work in Kajiado Diocese. He and Maggie have been involved in coordinating a number of development and ministry projects – and have been the driving force behind much of CMS Ireland’s work in Kenya over a prolonged period.

They are both passionate about helping churches and individuals in Ireland build lasting partnerships with the global church. They have facilitated hundreds of cross cultural mission opportunities for volunteers in recent years and hope to continue this during their latest term of service.
