James has a background in PR and marketing consultancy – and has more recently worked with mission organisations. He joins the team from CMS Britain where he worked with churches to help integrate global links into the daily life of the church.

As Regional Mission Partner for Europe, James is responsible for the development of CMS Ireland’s European partnerships. This includes seeking out mission opportunities across Ireland and building bridges between the church in Ireland and mutually enriching expressions of the people of God around the world.

James is passionate about local and global mission. He is keen for CMS Ireland to act as a catalyst and an animator of mission in local churches, dioceses and youth groups.

Furthermore, James is a head facilitator for Kairos an interactive course on world Christian mission and has been a Trustee of an ecumenical, ‘seed-bed’ body, allocating grants for mission-focused new projects based in Leeds, England.
