Niall Manogue is Regional Mission Partner for Mid and East-Africa. As such, he is specifically responsible for developing partnerships between the church in Ireland and the church in Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Kenya.
Prior to joining the Regional Mission Partner Team team in September 2007, Niall was a Mission Partner serving at Kiwoko Hospital in Uganda.
Hailing from Bangor, Niall was a full time Parish youth worker before moving to England to train and work as a primary school teacher. He has seen first hand how global relationships within the church can be mutually beneficial and he is particularly keen to facilitate that across Ireland and the Mid and East-Africa region.
Outside of work, Niall enjoys music and books. This year he is trying to learn to surf though to be honest, he is spending more time in the water than out of it. A marathon is scheduled with Mission Partner Ken Finch, but whether they can muster up the energy for it, is anyone’s guess.
