Short-Term

CMS Ireland’s ‘short term’ placements last for up to two years and include people working as Short-Term Mission Partners, GAP Year volunteers and those undertaking Experience Placements (STEP).

Over the coming years, we’d love to see many more people in STEP placements and Mission Placement Opportunities (these are more focused, task-based placements of up to two months).

This page is a great place to learn more about these placements by hearing from some of our current STEP volunteers about their experiences!

If this is something that you are considering, why not come along to Going Global – an event to help people consider what God might be calling them to next, as they respond to the call to mission.

Our next Going Global event is on 15-16 October in Tobermore. This is a residential weekend. If you would like a booking form or more information, please contact us our offices.
