Volunteers: Alan Dunn and Jim McAnlis
In CMS Ireland we depend on volunteers to make our work possible. Many of these people work tirelessly at grassroots level in churches and prayer groups and many others take part in special one-off tasks, events and gatherings. But we also have a number of individuals who volunteer, on a weekly basis, to support specific roles within the Society.
| Alan Dunn has an extensive background in business and development and has been a regular volunteer with the Society for more than a decade. At present he gives two days a week to support the work of the Regional Partnership Department. Alan has a keen interest in India, DR Congo and Sudan and is currently acting as the Volunteer Coordinator for DR Congo. |
| Jim McAnlis served as the Programmes Manager of Kiwoko Hospital, in Uganda, following early retirement in 2003. He has subsequently project managed CMS Ireland’s move to new premises in Belfast and overseen the development of links with other agencies working in Uganda and the Mid-Africa region. |
