Ireland: Pray for the staff of CMS Ireland as they prepare for a busy Harvest Season. Many of the staff will be traveling around Ireland and further afield – speaking and preaching at churches and events. Pray that these gatherings will be a good time of fellowship and learning.
Ireland: Pray for the CMS Ireland Board meeting on the 6th September in Dublin. Pray for the Board members as they look at the direction and future of CMS Ireland.
Ireland: 3. Remember the Clogher Regional Support Group meeting with Ian Smith today – give thanks for these faithful members of the Society. Pray that their meeting will be an encouragement and inspiration for the work in the Clogher area. Pray also for the Down & Dromore Sudan Support Group as they meet together on the 30th September; and that they will be blessed as they find new ways of engaging with CMS Ireland’s work in Sudan.
Nepal: Despite the relatively smooth departure of the King in June, political progress in recent months has been hampered by disagreements over the appointment of a new President. This has served as a reminder that Nepal has a long and difficult road ahead. Continue to pray for the political leaders – for patience, wisdom and understanding.
Nepal: Give thanks for the team from Willowfield Parish who visited Nepal in the summer. Pray for the ongoing contact that they have with our Global Partners in Nepal. Pray too that the team members will continue to build on their experiences and engage more deeply with God and with mission.
Nepal – The Gill Family: Mark and Ali returned to Ireland this month for a prolonged period of home assignment. Pray for them both as they settle back into a new home and to life back in County Antrim. Pray that they will be able to balance the need for a good rest with their commitments to family and to CMS Ireland.
Nepal – The Gill Family: All four of the Gills will be living together for the first time in 3 years. Pray that this will be a special time for them. Pray for Sarah Maya and Daniel as they look for temporary work and each make plans for the future.
Nepal – The Gill Family: Pray for Mark as he undergoes surgery on his knee next month, that the operation and the recovery will go smoothly. Pray too for his studies at Belfast Bible College, that he will find the whole experience refreshing and enriching
Nepal – The Gill Family: Pray for Ali as she gets used to a new location and becomes familiar with the bus routes! Pray that she will make good friends and that God will provide her with opportunities to show love and practical support to those in need.
Nepal – The Gill Family: Despite being based back in Ireland, Mark and Ali will still be in contact with friends and colleagues in Nepal and will continue to offer long-distance advice and input to our Global Partners. Pray for Mark and Ali at those times when they miss ‘home’. And pray for good communication between Ireland and Nepal.
