ekisa team meeting last night -keep praying for fellowship+preparation for the children's programmes in Luwero Diocese, Uganda
29 Jul, 08:28
The Maganda Family: Pray that the Maganda family settle well into their new life in Dublin – finding suitable accommodation and schools for Esther, Beth and Nathan in the Dublin area.
The Maganda Family: Remember ‘Refuge Egypt’ as it goes through a transition period – with key staff leaving and a vacuum until the new leadership is in place.
The Maganda Family: Pray for all of the family as they adjust back into a western culture and navigate all the challenges ahead. Leaving their co-workers and friends in Egypt was painful – they had become their ‘family’ and they grieve their input and presence in their lives.
Northern Uganda – Arua, The Den Breejen Family: Pray for Aart and Geesje as they settle, with the family, into life in Arua. Give thanks for the warm welcome they have received from the VTC staff and students and Church community
Northern Uganda – Arua, The Den Breejen Family: 5. Pray for Anne Fluer, Ruben and Jan-Lucas as they adapt to life in Arua. Pray for Anne-Fluer and Ruben as they learn to communicate in English at the ‘Good Day Nursery’.
Northern Uganda – Arua, The Den Breejen Family: Pray for the staff members of the VTC as they have had to go without pay over the summer months because of a lack of resources. Pray for them as they struggle to provide for their families.
Ireland: Pray for the CMSI Board as it meets in Dublin today. Give thanks for the commitment and energy of the Board members as they seek to move CMSI forward in God’s leading.
Ireland: Give thanks for the CMS Ireland volunteers who play a big part in the daily running of the Society, those who assist in the offices, lead META teams and offer prayer support.
Ireland: Pray for the staff of CMS Ireland – some are busy with preaching and speaking engagements over the next few months – pray especially for health and safety as they are out and about. Pray for the other staff, who are office based, as they offer administration support and work on many other projects.
Sudan – John and Poppy Spens: Give thanks for the work of John and Poppy in Yei Diocese at the Vocational Training Centre. They have now left Sudan and are back at Winchester – looking at what God is calling them to next.
