Rwanda, Kibungo Diocese: One of the biggest problems faced by people in Kibungo is illiteracy. The diocese, through its parishes, has started trying to tackle this problem by providing adult literacy classes. Pray for the effectiveness of these classes and for those who attend them.

Rwanda, Kibungo Diocese: The diocese is preparing for the Youth Camp at Kanazi Archdeaconry. Please pray for the ongoing preparations and last minute details. Pray that many young people would attend and that lives would be transformed.

Rwanda, Kibungo Diocese: Give thanks for the many churches, Sunday Schools and primary schools taking part in this year’s Annual Project, ‘Start Small, Grow Tall.’ Pray that the project would make a lasting impact in the lives of many people in Kibungo. Pray especially for the Diocesan Development Department as they look to implement the programme in local communities.

META Teams, STEP Placements and Youth Programmes: Pray for our Global Partners in Burundi, Kenya, Romania and Uganda as, between them, they host almost 100 short-term volunteers over the summer months. Pray that our partners would be encouraged by the visits and that lasting relationships can be built.
