Uganda, Rukingiri, Chilli Children: Pray for the work of the Chilli Children Trust, as it goes about raising support to help the church run its support programme for children with disabilities in Rukingiri, South West Uganda. Pray for Becky Thorn, the chair of the UK Chilli Children Trust. Pray that she will be strengthened and encouraged in her work.

Ethiopia, Gambella Region: Give thanks for the work that has begun on the new Gambella Anglican Centre for Mission. Pray that God would provide for the next two years of funding for this project, which will have a profound impact upon the area.

Ethiopia, Gambella Region: Pray for the eight new ordinands in Gambella: that God would grant them wisdom and passion in their new roles, particularly those who are undertaking pioneer ministries amongst new groups in remote areas. Also give thanks that the clergy in Gambella now reflect all the ethnic groups in the region.

Sudan, Yei Diocese, John & Poppy Spens: Pray for CMS Ireland Mission Associates, John and Poppy Spens,who are working with the Diocese of Yei to develop health services for rural communities, to train teachers and health workers, to build primary school classrooms and to drill village boreholes. Pray that John and Poppy will know God’s guidance and blessing in all that they do.

Pray particularly for the staff of the new Primary Health Care Centre in Lainya, which opened in February. And pray for John in his role as a lay reader in the Diocese of Yei.
