Nepal, Zimmerman Family: Pray for Mark, Deirdre, Zach and Benjamin in Kathmandu, that God would watch over and protect them as a family. Pray that the boys would enjoy the end of the school holidays and that God would bless them in all that they do.
Nepal, Zimmerman Family: Pray for Mark and Deirdre in their work, that they would be encouraged by the ways in which they see God changing lives. Pray that God would use them in their own roles, that they would bring blessings and transformation.
Burundi, Gitega Diocese: Give thanks for three new deacons and pray for their various activities in the Diocese: Innocent is presently the chaplain of Nyankanda Health Centre; Aimé Joseph is the Principal of the Bible School; Frédiane is the chaplain of the Lycée of Buhiga.
Burundi, Gitega Diocese: The 15th August marks the 25th anniversary of the Diocese. Pray for the preparations for the upcoming celebration at Buhiga. Also give thanks for the launching of the 75th Anniversary celebrations of the Anglican Church of Burundi.
Ireland, CMS Ireland Volunteers: Give thanks for all the volunteers who give of their time and energy to support the work of the Society in the offices and across Ireland. Pray that God would bless each of them as they serve Him in different ways.
Ireland, CMS Ireland Board of Trustees: Remember the Board of Trustees of CMS Ireland, in particularly Clifford McSpadden as Chairman, as they seek God’s guidance and vision for the work of the Society. Give thanks for their passion and commitment to mission.
Ireland, Ekisa META: Pray for the Ekisa META, who head to Kiwoko Hospital next week and will be working with a Ugandan team to provide children’s programmes. Ask God to bless these programmes with joy and excitement, and to work in the lives of the children and team members.
Ireland, Youth META: Pray for the Youth META who leave Rwanda and return to Ireland today. Pray that God would help each of the team to reflect on and share their experiences with friends, families and parishes.
Egypt, Diocese of Egypt: Please pray for the completion of Harpur Community Health Centre in Sadat City. The Diocese is planning to open it on 1 December 2010 as they celebrate the Centenary of the Harpur Memorial Hospital in Menouf. Pray for all those working extremely hard to complete this project on schedule.
Egypt, Diocese of Egypt: Please pray for the ongoing work of the Diocese of Egypt and their various ministries, particularly at a time of financial uncertainty and limited funding. Please pray for the God’s guidance and provision at this time.
