BURUNDI,Gitega Diocese: Give thanks for the funding provided by Irish Aid for the construction of St Luke’s High School at Nyabiharage in Gitega. As the school plans to open later this year, pray for God’s provision for the remaining equipment required.

BURUNDI, Gitega Diocese: The diocesan staff will be developing their 5-year strategic plan in the coming months. As they celebrate their Silver Jubilee, pray that God would give them a new vision of what He is calling them to be and to do as a church in the coming months and years.

BURUNDI, Matana Diocese: Pray for the work of the Matana Theological Institute as it provides theological training for pastors in Burundi. Pray for the staff of the centre under the leadership of Vincent, as they provide support, guidance and teaching to the students

BURUNDI, Matana Diocese: Pray for the work of Matana Primary School, which reopened in September. Pray for the children that attend the school – that they would see school as a welcoming place, where they are cared for and valued.

IRELAND, CMS Ireland staff: David sets off this week for a visit to Sudan and Ethiopia to visit Global Partners, meet donors and attend the Archbishop’s Partnership Conference in Sudan. Pray for safety as he travels, for fruitful meetings with partners and for him to be blessed by those he meets.

IRELAND, CMS Ireland staff: Niall recently returned from a visit to some of our partners in Africa. Pray for the follow-up work from this trip – that God would help these relationships to grow. Pray also for Niall’s work with Link Parishes in Ireland, that these links would flourish.

IRELAND, CMS Ireland staff: Pray for Roger as he helps to promote the Discover resource and encourages churches to go deeper in mission. Pray too for his plans to visit India and Nepal later this month and as he hands over responsibility of these partnerships to Ronnie.

IRELAND, CMS Ireland staff: Today is Ronnie’s first day as the new Mission Director of CMS Ireland. Pray that God would give him a sense of peace, excitement and belonging as he starts in this role. Pray that he will quickly get to grips with all that goes on in the Society and that God will bless his relationships with the staff members.

Pray that God will help them to be creative and to find ways of encouraging children to engage in mission. Pray also for Roger and Rachel as they put together the next edition of inMission magazine.

KENYA: Thank God for the recent, peaceful referendum on a new Constitution for Kenya. Pray that this will be peacefully transposed into the legal system during the coming months and that it will be used to benefit all Kenyan citizens.
