ETHIOPIA, Gambella Region (Diocese of Egypt, with Horn of Africa): Pray for all those involved with the Anglican Church in Gambella as they bid farewell to Sam Moody and Bishop Andrew and Janice after nine years of shared ministry. Pray that the church leaders will step up to the responsibility of running things before a replacement Bishop arrives.

ETHIOPIA, Gambella Region (Diocese of Egypt, with Horn of Africa): Pray for the staff at the Gambella Anglican Centre and particularly for the literacy companions and group facilitators who are beginning to teach 30 new groups, of mainly women, around the region. Give thanks for the significant long-term impact on hundreds of young people that this ministry has had.

UGANDA, Luwero Diocese – Kiwoko Hospital, Paul and Tania Baker: Pray for the Paul and Tania as they set out to learn L’uganda, the local language. It is a difficult language, so pray that God helps them remember it and commit to using it.

UGANDA, Luwero Diocese – Kiwoko Hospital, Paul and Tania Baker: Pray for Tania as she works with the Craft Project for ladies with HIV. Pray for relationships that develop through these times. Give thanks for the timing of Paul’s arrival to the hospital just as an x-ray machine and ultrasound machine died and he was able to repair them. Pray for Paul as he looks to manage the workload of machines that need repairs.

IRELAND, The Briggs Family: Give thanks that Ronnie & Maggie are feeling more settled back in Ireland and finding their individual roles. As Maggie’s time as a Mission Partner comes to an end, pray that God would guide and direct her.

IRELAND, The Briggs Family: Give thanks for the great improvement in Naomi’s health and pray that this will continue as she attempts part-time work and study. Also remember Susie who is working in Banbridge and Philip who has remained in Kenya where he is involved in a Lion Conservation Project.
