KENYA, Kajiado Diocese: Pray for the ongoing process of nomination, election and consecration of a new Bishop for Kajiado. Pray that God may lead His people to make the right decision. Pray too for Bishop Taama as he comes to retirement in December this year, that he may know the guidance and encouragement of God.

KENYA, Kajiado Diocese: Pray for the victims of famine in Kajiado. Pray that God will open the heavens to pour out His blessing of rain on all those who hunger. Pray that the diocese will be able to respond in an appropriate way and bring much needed relief to all who are suffering.

KENYA, Kajiado Diocese: Pray for Oloosuyian Girls’ Secondary School, which has been built for the empowerment of Maasai Girls and opened in July with an intake of 24 pupils. The school still needs many more buildings, teachers and support staff. Pray that the required resources will be made available when required.

NEPAL, Human Development and Community Services: SP Kalaunee continues to provide leadership at HDCS. Pray that God would equip SP with all that he needs for this job. Pray for all the staff at HDCS’s office in Kathmandu, that they would be encouraged and blessed in their work.

NEPAL, Human Development and Community Services: Give thanks for the progress made with the expansion of Dadeldhura Hospital, in the Far Western Region of Nepal. Pray for HDCS as they try to raise additional funds to complete the work. Pray too for the staff at the hospital.

NEPAL, Human Development and Community Services: Disability is still considered a curse in Nepal and parents often keep disabled children indoors. Pray for the work of the ABBS centres as they provide quality daycare for these children. Pray that this ministry will challenge the status quo and reflect something of God’s love.

IRELAND, CMS Ireland Staff: Bishop of Conor, Alan Abernethy, will be joining the CMS Ireland staff team on Monday 12th September, to lead a special communion celebration. He will also commission Rev Adrian Dorrian as volunteer Chaplain to the staff. Please pray for Adrian as he assumes this role and for the staff team as they finalise plans for the term ahead.
