the peace of the area. May God give wisdom and love to the Congolese
leaders as they pray and advocate for peace.

DR CONGO, Kindu Diocese:
Pray for the Christians in the Diocese of Kindu that they may
remain faithful to God during this period of continued uncertainty and
insecurity following the outcome of the recent elections. Also pray for
the ongoing development work of the Church in Kindu, especially the
education and health programmes.

Pray especially for Bishop Masimango, the Archdeacons, Clergy,
Lay Readers and all the Diocesan staff team as they seek to serve
God and the people of the diocese – ask God to bless them in their
pastoral ministry.

The Wilsons are in full swing on their deputation programme, visiting
link churches and supporters. Pray they will be guided in what they
share, so that their audiences may be enthused and encouraged by all
that God is doing in and through the ministry of Kiwoko Hospital.

Pray for protection while the Wilsons travel many miles in the
coming months. Pray for times of refreshment during a family holiday
in June, during various training courses they will be attending, and for
their week at New Wine in Sligo in July.

Pray for Ronnie Briggs, in his dual role of Mission Director and
Partnership Coordinator for Kenya and Nepal. Ronnie is currently in
Kenya – pray that his time there will be fruitful and that God would
bless him in all that he does.

Pray for Partnership Coordinator David Gough as he organises and
trains 4 METAs in the coming months, leading 3 teams into South
Sudan between August and January. Also pray for David’s travels to
various Global Partners and Link Parishes in Ireland, especially for
safety, sensitivity and inspiration in his travels.

Pray for Niall Manogue (Partnership Coordinator for Burundi, Rwanda
and Uganda) as he uses the quieter summer months to plan and
prepare for the term to come. Pray that Niall would be refreshed and
reinvigorated to begin his work with churches in the coming months.
