RWANDA
In Rwanda, bananas represent the main food source for daily consumption and for the national economy, occupying more than 20% of cultivated land. Crops are currently under threat from disease with many plantations already affected. Pray for local banana farmers as they struggle to meet basic needs at this time.

Pray for the provision of qualified teachers and resources at the Bible and Development School in Shyogwe. The school provides vital training to catechists (lay preachers). Please remember the students as they prepare to go out and make an impact in their Chapels.

The Shyogwe Diocese Training Programme on Integral Mission equips and empowers people to bring the Kingdom of God to their regions. Please pray for all attending as they explore their faith further and learn more about God’s heart for mission. Pray that this valuable training programme will be able to continue with new attendees.

UGANDA: Luwero Diocese – Kiwoko Hospital
Pray for the staff at Kiwoko Hospital. Give thanks for all the different roles within the hospital compound – Medical staff, Finance and Administration, Maintenance and Security. Pray especially that the hospital will find someone for the important role of Finance Director.

UGANDA: Luwero Diocese – Kiwoko Hospital
Remember all the patients who are cared for at Kiwoko Hospital. There are over 50,000 patients treated every year through the hospital wards, Outpatient Clinics and Community outreach programmes. Pray that the hospital will be a real source of God’s love and peace for those suffering with terminal or life limiting illnesses.

Pray for the churches in the Gambella region of Ethiopia, many of which are having to rebuild traditional church structures after the long rains destroyed them. Please also remember in prayer the cell groups of Christians in Somaliland.
