KENYA
Pray for divine protection for all Kenyans from both external aggression and internal conflicts. Pray for peaceful co-existence and unity of purpose for all Kenyans as they face violence and threats of violence in many communities. Pray for Church leaders as they try to speak into these situations.

KENYA: Urban Development Programme, Nairobi Cathedral
Give thanks for the electricity that the World Bank is installing in all households in Kayole. The UDP families will not have to pay the considerable connection charge, and each household will have its own supply. Pray too for sufficient rainfall this month, so that crops grow and food prices return to reasonable levels.

Please pray for the Tujisaidie School, where the senior students have now reached national examination level for the first time. Pray that they will do well, and that the school will be able to repay its building loans.

Give thanks for the mission links between dioceses in the Church of Ireland and a number of CMS Ireland’s Global Partners, including: Tuam’s link with Kajiado, Kenya; Down and Dromore’s link with Maridi, South Sudan; Connor’s link with Yei, South Sudan. Pray that God would anoint these relationships and help to make them fruitful.
