NEW YEAR PRAYERS
At the start of a new year, we give thanks to God for His faithfulness and many blessings throughout 2014. We pray that the many seeds that were sown in mission last year – by our Global Partners, by CMS Ireland and in our own lives and churches – would be nurtured by God and would lead to transformed lives.

NEW YEAR PRAYERS
We offer ourselves, our parishes, CMS Ireland and our Global Partners into God’s hands and commit the New Year to Him. May His Kingdom be extended throughout 2015 and may each of us learn to love Him more deeply and serve Him more effectively.

KENYA: Urban Development Programme, Nairobi Cathedral
Please pray for the elderly members of the UDP communities. Several members have recently passed away, and others are growing old and frail. Thank God for the community spirit of their neighbours, which is a great support to them, and for their contributions to the work of the UDP.

Isabelle Prondzynski
Pray for Isabelle, who broke her elbow in a cycling accident in August. Thank God for her complete recovery and for the excellent work done by the hospital and physiotherapists. As a result, Isabelle has had to postpone her hip operation to April 2015. Pray for good health and mobility in the meantime.

UGANDA: Madi West Nile Diocese
Next year, Madi West Nile is prioritising their ministry among women. Please pray for women in the diocese, that they may be released from all forms of oppression and be used by God for His glory at all levels. Pray that the diocese’s Women’s Department may continue to be a channel of God’s grace to this end.
