SOUTH SUDAN
Give thanks for the peace agreement signed on 1st February, the first to be signed by all the factions. Details for some contentious issues still need to be agreed upon. Continue to pray that all parties will be prepared to make the sacrifices necessary to secure peace.

SOUTH SUDAN: Yei Diocese
In January, a small team from CMSI visited Yei to join in a diocesan youth conference. Rev Amule reports that ‘525 young people attended and 173 participants responded to Christ’s call to salvation. During the week they lived peacefully together.’ Please give thanks for this demonstration of Christ’s reconciling love.

Bishop Allison Theological College is reopening in Yei after many years of closure. Pray for the staff and students as they settle into their temporary buildings.

IRELAND: CMSI Staff
Partnership Coordinator Kelly Yates flies out on Friday for a two-week visit with Global Partners in Rwanda and Burundi. Pray for safe travels and a good time of fellowship and encouragement with the various dioceses and projects she will be visiting, especially the opportunity to develop future plans for partnership in these regions.

Please pray for Nepal as it continues to strive towards peace and stability. Recent strike action caused much upset and many people are concerned about the future. It is hard for people to develop when there is uncertainty so please pray that God will bring His peace to the land.
