Kiwoko Hospital has experienced a drop in the number of Medical Students coming to do their electives; this is having a detrimental effect on hospital finances. Pray for Tania as she comes up with ways to attract students and medical professionals to consider a placement at Kiwoko.

Kiwoko Hospital is lacking in key medical equipment. As a result, Paul and his team are struggling to keep up with the workload of repairing existing equipment. Pray for energy and wisdom as they try to find a way forward and pray that Paul would be a source of encouragement and support for colleagues.

The Bakers are applying for a long-term UK Visa for Lana so that she can travel easily to and from Northern Ireland, where Paul and Tania’s families are based. Pray that the application process will be successful.

Pray for the CMSI Board of Trustees as they spend today with the staff team for a shared time of listening, reflecting and discussion. Pray that it will be a fruitful and encouraging day. Pray that God would continue to bless and guide the Trustees.

Give thanks today for CMSI’s members, particularly for those who have responded to the CMSI Stars initiative. Pray that this renewed investment in membership will bear much fruit and that the membership of the society will grow, both numerically and in the depth of engagement by – and with – individuals.

Please pray for Partnership Coordinator, Roger Thompson, currently staying with Ronnie and Briggs in Kenya. Give thanks for Roger’s time with CMSI’s Global Partners in Zambia and Kenya. Ask for travelling mercies, energy and insight for his remaining time in Kenya and pray for him as he returns home to Ireland.

DR CONGO: Bukavu Diocese
Pray for Bishop Bahati and his team who are preparing for the arrival of the CMSI team from Tynan, Aghavilly and Middletown Parishes on 30th March for two weeks. Pray that this visit will be a source of great encouragements to the bishop and to many others in the diocese.

DR CONGO: Bukavu Diocese
Pray for the much-needed refurbishment of church buildings in the diocese, which have remained in poor condition following years of unrest and the earthquake in 2008.
