SHORT-TERM EXPERIENCE PLACEMENTS (STEPs)
Ian Jackson from Cork (Crosshaven Parish) will be travelling to Kathmandu today for a six-week placement in Nepal, helping SD Church with plans for an extension on their roof, as well as other planned construction projects. Pray that his time there will be fruitful; pray for safety in travel and good health.

SHORT-TERM EXPERIENCE PLACEMENTS (STEPs)
Church of Ireland Ordinand, William Jeffreys from Belfast (St George’s Parish) will be undertaking a three-week placement in the Diocese of Northern Zambia, from 20th July – 13th August. Pray that he will have a positive experience of ministering in various parishes and that he will be a blessing to those he encounters.

IRELAND: The Wilson Family
In May, Rory, Denise and Gideon finished their Mission Partner service at Kiwoko Hospital. Pray for the ongoing adjustment process as they settle into their new home and life in Bangor. Pray too for their various speaking engagements with link churches and supporters over the coming months.

Pray for Rory as he undergoes further training and takes a few medical exams to enable him to return to General Practice in the UK. Pray for Denise as she concentrates on setting up home and holding everything together during this time of change.

Pray for Gideon as he adjusts to life in Bangor and as he settles in to his new primary school before the summer break and starting P4 in September. Pray that he will form new and lasting friendships and will settle quickly into a new and differing routine.

SOUTH SUDAN: Yei Diocese
The board of the Yei Teacher Training College decided the college should reopen in Yei in July, depending on the security situation. Pray that God would bless these plans. Currently all the schools in Yei have opened. The children are learning with those teachers who remained in Yei. Pray that this can continue.

SOUTH SUDAN: Maridi & Olo Dioceses
Pray for Charles Bashir who is a cathedral youth leader and has been accepted to train for the ordained ministry. The Church is planning to send him for ministerial training at Bishop Gwyn College in Juba next month. Pray for God’s protection upon his life during his studies.

Thank God for the improvement in the health of Rev Eli, who was forced to take leave from his studies at Africa Renewal University Uganda due to illness. Pray for complete improvement in his health as he plans to resume his studies in August.

Pray for the two archdeaconries most affected by the insecurity in Olo Diocese: Manbee I and Lungbuo II. The diocese welcomes more displaced people every day, but lacks resources to care for all their needs. Pray that God will provide.
