Ronnie and Maggie Briggs, CMS Ireland Mission Partners in Kajiado Diocese, Kenya, take some time out to reflect on the recent visit of 36 staff and pupils from Limavady Grammar School...
| Ekisa 2007
The ‘Ekisa’ team (meaning ‘grace’ in Luganda) spent 3 weeks working with the children and staff of Kiwoko Hospital, in Uganda, during the summer of 2007. Their experiences of living and working with Ugandan Christians made a deep impact on many of the team and their time in Luwero saw the love of Christ shared with hundreds of young people as the team ran a series of kids clubs in the local area. |

| Footsteps
CMS Ireland’s 2008 Annual Project, Footsteps, is based in Kajiado diocese, Kenya and gives us the opportunity to walk alongside two children in Torosei as they show us what a typical day looks like for them. Sanau and Shankua teach us some Swahili, we visit their school and see what life is like back home in their boma. As we follow in their footsteps we learn why education is so important in Kajiado – and why the Church has made it such a priority. |
