3. Diocese of Egypt
The Diocese of Egypt stretches across a vast area in North Africa and covers the countries of Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Djibouti and Somalia, as well as Egypt itself. CMS Ireland's partnership with the diocese is mostly focussed on supporting Sudanese refugees in Cairo, through the Refuge egypt programme. |

4. Gambella
The local church in Gambella, Ethiopia, is working to help rural communities living on the Sudanese border. With 45 parishes clustered into 10 Mission Centres this growing church is now discipling more than 6000 local Christians. CMS Ireland is supporting the church as it builds a new training centre which will run adult literacy and reconciliation programmes. |

8. Kajokeji Diocese
Roughly the same size as Northern Ireland Kajokeji Diocese is situated in the Eastern Equatorial region of Southern Sudan. CMS Ireland supports the Church in discipleship, community development and poverty alleviation programmes. |
|
10. Luwero Diocese
CMS Ireland has been in partnership with the Diocese of Luwero, in central Uganda, for more than 20 years. It was once the centre of the tragic instability and civil war that marked the years of the Idi Amin and Milton Obote regimes in Uganda - and the conflict has left a lasting mark on the local community. Through a partnership with the local church CMS Ireland is supporting health care, evangelism and discipleship. |

15. SD Church
CMS Ireland partners with a church fellowship in Nepal which embodies Christ's call to serve him as we find him in 'the least of these'. Led by a paraplegic Pastor and his family, it is very much a church for the marginalised. Up to 200 people attend the Saturday services and fellowship groups, many of whom would be considered the outcasts of society – wheelchair users, leprosy sufferers, women who have been abandoned by their husbands, the blind, the poor. |
|
16. Shyogwe Diocese
Shyogwe Diocese is CMS Ireland's newest Global Partner in the Mid-Africa region. CMS Ireland is delighted to expand our relationship with Rwanda.
