CMSI’s Personnel Manager, Gillian Maganda was invited to attend The Fisher Foundation’s annual awards ceremony in Enniskillen this week. CMSI along with The Leprosy Mission, Trocaire and other individuals from the Fermanagh area received grants towards their overseas work.

The Fisher Foundation serves as a permanent memorial to the lives of Bertie, Mark and Emma Fisher who died following a tragic helicopter accident in 2001. The Foundation seeks to commemorate Bertie and Mark's interest in rallying and Emma's commitment to Christian service overseas by supporting those involved in these areas today.

CMSI has had a close connection with the Fisher Foundation since it began in 2003. Gillian presented a short video highlighting some of the visits and Teams CMSI has facilitated in the last year, including Archbishop Richard Clarke, Church of Ireland clergy and parish visits.

Watch the video now.

Gillian commented,

"Our heartfelt thanks to the Fisher Foundation and Trustees for their valuable commitment and support in enabling ourselves and other young volunteers to change lives and impact communities across our world."
