Calry Parish visit Kindu Diocese, DRC

It was just a few weeks ago that Gillian and Linda travelled to Sligo to be at Calry Parish as they commissioned Archdeacon Patrick, Gus and Tammy to represent Calry Parish this summer in Kindu.

Grateful to God for visas granted and smooth travel, they were greeted in Goma by Archbishop Masimango's representative on their arrival last Wednesday. After another short flight they were very glad to arrive in Kindu and very much appreciated the kind hospitality of Archbishop Masimango and Mama Naomie as they sought rest from the journey.

The three visitors have been part of the Diocesan Youth leaders conference over the past few days and will be visiting various diocesan ministries over the next few days. Pray for Patrick, Gus and Tammy as they navigate cultural and language adjustments and the very humid environment. Calry Parish's partners in DRC are delighted with the visit. Pray that there will be mutual blessing in all that takes place over the next couple of weeks.
