One of the main priorities that CMSI has is to be involved in supporting activities that strengthen the core ministry of our Global Partners, by resourcing communities, facilitating training and fostering deep, transformative partnerships.
We are thrilled to highlight a beautiful example of this mission in action through our connection with Christ Church Lisburn. Currently, the parish is standing in the gap for the global church by supporting two dedicated students (Ordinand Mukalazi Boaz and Ordinand Erifaz Kyeyune) from Luweero Diocese through Namagongo Theological Seminary in Kampala, Uganda.
Why Theological Education Matters:
Supporting a student through seminary is one of the most strategic investments a church can make. By providing these two individuals with the opportunity to study in Kampala, Christ Church Lisburn is helping to:
• Deepen Scriptural Understanding: Equipping future leaders with the theological tools to navigate complex modern challenges.
• Empower Local Ministry: Ensuring that the Gospel is preached by those who understand the heart, language, and culture of their own communities.
• Foster Sustainable Growth: Developing a robust leadership pipeline within Luweero Diocese that will serve for decades to come.
Looking Ahead:
This isn't just about paying tuition fees; it’s about the future development of leadership within Luweero Diocese. As these students grow in wisdom and grace, they will return to their communities not just as graduates, but as catalysts for spiritual and social transformation.
