Chilli Children, located in Rukungiri, SW Uganda are providing hope, healing and opportunity to children with life limiting conditions. It provides access to chilli growing for income, education, life skills, medical outreach and surgery. CMSI have had longstanding links with this inspirational project which is managed by Mrs Evas Nahabwe (OT), who is supported by a small team of staff.
Tom & Gemma Withers have been able to spend this past week at Chilli Children, volunteering alongside and learning from the Ugandan staff running the project. We look forward to reading their next blog, and hearing how this visit to other healthcare facilities in other parts of Uganda, has impacted them personally.
Continue to remember Evas and her dedicated staff as they seek to care both physically and spiritually for the needs of very vulnerable children with limited resources.
