This week we received further difficult news from Eastern Congo. Bishop Bahati, of Bukavu Diocese, explained that the violent attacks in North Kivu Province are so serious that people are now running to Bukavu for safety. Thanks to the generosity of DRC link parishes we do have funds to hand and we will be sending these to Bukavu Diocese next week. They will use this to provide shelter and food for IDP’s (Internally Displaced People) who have recently arrived from North Kivu.
We ask you to pray for Eastern Congo.
